Just read the day 1 and 2 reports and have to say, I'm going to Berlin sometime between Christmas break and next summer. In which I will be hoping on the euro-rail and checking out many places, especially trying to grab a boat over to London from France.

My mum's ex is still over there and we keep in touch so I would love to visit him. I'm so freaking jealous you got to hang out in Milan - I'm not gossip-column reading chick but I would love to do the Milan Fashion scene - big time doing a show and seeing the country; Florence, Tuscany et al.

Seriously, I'm dieing to travel!

OH nice!!! I haven't been to Berlin, but I've been to Frankfurt. I love taking trains around Europe. I'm totally with you on that one. I have actually taken the Ferry across the English Channel, Calais to Dover. It was cool but also it was before the Chunnel was finished. Even though we were only in Milan for a day, it was fun to go from the smaller laid back Florence to the very big city of Milan. I also like riding subways in different countries as well and I did that. Tell me what fun places you've visited?

Oh sweet jealousy. I have wanted to go to Europe my entire life. Alas, my absurd fear of flying makes it hard. But I think we may fo over after my fiancee is done with nursing school. I'm thinking the basics, paris, london, rome, berlin, amsterdam, greece, may be on the order. For now I live vicariously through you!

Bob, It it good that you are working up to getting over your fear of flight. I can imagine that's very much like somebody saying to me "here, please hold my tarantula for a moment." and me actually doing it. But, at least you would get something out of the experience. Seriously though. Travel is my most favorite thing to do. Some peeps like to spend their money on gadgets and such but I like to spend mine on going places. I've been super lucky in doing so. I've been to a lot of exciting places and I'm by no means done yet.
