Just the other night I created a three course gourmet meal for BiBi. I used all of her usual food but dressed up the presentation. Her first course was a Napoleon, which was my FAV. It consisted of her freeze dried Force, one of her Nature's Variety Chicken Medallions and some cottage cheese, plus a little salmon oil to give it some body. Her next course was of a contemporary American cuisine plating style that you'll find in most SF restaurants. I used the Force as the pureed root vegetable, I actually tried to get some little grill marks on the chicken medallion, with my tiny Japanese grill. The results were mixed but it did have a nice brown crust. I again went to the salmon oil for sauce. Finally I tried to make sort of a galantine, using all the aforementioned ingredients as well as some raw chicken and some sausage crumbs. I rolled it in parchment paper to get a nice rolled shape. Since the food is raw it didn't stay perfectly. But the idea was sound. We took some pics that aren't so hot, but they'll do.

Retard Strength and Other such oddities.

Meeting up with John and Andy tonight. Needless to say, after some early disappointments in trying to work with peeps, T-shirts seem to be underway.

I talked a bit further with the dude that's submitting pics for Chef on Occasion and it seems likely that he may replace Katie in the fold. Optimisim is high. I still need to find out the best and most economical way to ship frozen items. It will be cool if this portion of the business works out as I think it would be great to feature Steph's work as well.

We're so painting that table next to the couch this weekend. Also we're so seeing Be Kind Rewind. I can tell it's epic already.

Also call me lame if you want, but I really didn't think Juno was all that great. I thought Michael Cera should have had a bigger role to play. I'm tired of Ellen Page already.

To start with, I'll broach the subject of the B-Day. I usually hate them, they've never been fun to me and I've never been much for parties as I'm not one for being a social butterfly amongst the meadows of various peeps that I know. Anyway, Jan. 11th came and went and was all things considered, a good time. We went to Cha Cha Cha and drank Sangria til' the late hours. I ended up passing out with my glasses on and hogging all the pillows. I awoke dehydrated and not sure of how time had elapsed such as it did. The rents came into the city and took Steph and I to brunch at foreign cinema, all in all a good time.

Let's just say that Steph and I get a little bored some nights, not of each other but you know, it's those times when interesting things happen such as this:
